About the Programme

The event will offer a balanced mix of plenary presentations, break-out workshops and panel debates, with the goal of creating a participative and educational environment.

Conference programme

To assist you in planning for the event, please find below an outline programme. Please note that all timings and social events are subject to change.


  Daytime Evening
Sunday 2 September Morning and afternoon visits to Victoria Falls, with lunch on the lookout Welcome reception by the pool for all delegates
Monday 3 September Conference begins with general sessions and presentations Evening reception featuring cultural entertainment and dinner
Tuesday 4 September Conference sessions and breakout workshops continue Evening river cruise on the Zambezi river, followed by dinner
Wednesday 5 September General sessions and presentations continue Gala dinner takes place in the hotel grounds
Thursday 6 September Optional safari tours take place just over the border in Botswana (please note these are an additional cost)


Some of the topics covered will include substrates, coins, public features, machine readable features and cash handling, with a specific focus on the African market, as well as topics relating to ID and other security documents. 

Apart from these working sessions, there will be a number of social visits and dinners planned for all attendees on each day of the conference. These social events will give attendees the opportunity to experience the best cuisine and culture that Zimbabwe has to offer.
